Sad News

We received the news yesterday that my dear Grandmother Hutchinson passed away in her sleep from Saturday night to Sunday morning. Although I am sad and will miss her a lot, I am comforted in the fact that she is preceded in death by all of her family including her husband. I am sure that was a joyous reunion in heaven for all of them. She was a great lady and means a great deal to me. I spent many days at her home as a child and will treasure them forever. I now know that I was inspired to go and visit her when we did in July so I could see her one last time on earth before she left. Good Bye for now Grandma and I know you are watching all of us and we will see you soon enough.

Mallory's first day of School

Here are a few pictures of Mallory on her first day of 1st grade. This first outfit took 4 tries to get it right! She is such a girl, but she did a great job picking it out with the just the right shorts.
Good Bye Logan! I'll see you after school!
Good Bye Lyndie! See you Later!
This is Mallory standing in line with her class before the bell rang. Her teacher came out and walked the kids in after the bell sounded.
She came home in one piece! She was very worn out and starving mostly. I think I will make her a whole sandwich next time to see if that keeps her full longer.

Quotes from Mallory about her 1st day:
1.
Mallory:"Mom, I made two new friends!"
Me: "What are their names Mallory?"
Mallory: "I don't know."
Me: "How do you know they are your freinds?"
Mallory: "because I asked if they wanted to be friends and they said yes!"
2.
Mallory: "Mom, I am the prettiest girl in my whole class."
Me: "You didn't say that to the other kids did you?!"
Mallory: "No, I just wanted you to know."
3.
Mallory: "Mom, there were two boring parts at school today."
Me: "Oh really? What were they?"
Mallory: "Learning the rules in the gym and learning the rules in the cafeteria."
Me: "What are the rules?"
Mallory: "I don't remember."

High School Reunion-Go T-Ville! Class of '98

My High School Reunion was last friday at the Little America. Jeremy and I went together and this was the table we sat at. That is my friend Karen, who lives in California and Kristen Webster and her hubby who still live here in Salt Lake.

A quick picture of me and Karen before dinner started.

This is a group photo of some of my HS friends. Left to right: Heather English, Karen Garcia-Young, Natalie Gardner, Jenny Urry, Natalie Griffith, Wendi, Natalie Warner, Jill Bingham.

Karen and Jenny Hugging to say hello and Natalie in the backround. Us four had a lot of fun together and even went to some girls choice dances together with our dates. Good Times!

p.s. Thank you for going Jeremy! All of the husbands were sooooo bored! They all pretty much sat back and were wall flowers or purse holders. What troopers to all the men there. The good news for them is that they don't have to do it again for 5 years.

Breaking Dawn Midnight Release Party!

Yes, I am crazy enough to go to the midnight release just for a book! Barnes and Noble hired these two actors to portray Edward and Bella at their wedding reception and everyone got to have their picture taken with them. We just got them emailed today, or they would have been up sooner. My good friend Amy was crazy enough to go with me as well and she is in the pictures with me.

Breaking Dawn

Ok, all of you that are huge fans of the Twilight series will know what I am talking about. I went and stood in line Friday morning at Barnes and Noble just to get a wrist band to hold my spot in line so I could come back that night and buy a book at 12:01am. Was it worth it? YES! I was number 150, so it went by fast. I finished my book during Sunday School at church. How could I not? I only had 35 pages to go when it was time to go to church! I love the book and am happy with the ending and definitely feel closure with the story as well as the characters. If you have finished it, let me know what you think too.
