The Big Sleepover!

Glen and Betty were in town this weekend with their five kids. The girl cousins wanted to have a sleepover at my house one night so I let them.  There is me, Amy, Trista(John's daughter), Rachel, and Mallory.
We watched a movie down stairs until they were tired. The little girls all slept on an inflatable air mattress while Rachel had the couch and I went upstairs to my nice comfy bed! It was fun to have them altogether.

Third and Final Day of The Big Trip

Our last day, we drove to San Francisco and took a cruise around the bay. We went out around Alcatraz, under the Bay Bridge and by the downtown skyline. It was colder than we thought it would be once we were out on the ocean, so we spent most of the cruise inside the boat looking through the windows, which was just as fun. After the cruise we went to Pier 39 and had some yummy clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl. YUM!
This was taken as we were approaching the bridge. The fog was still thick because it was about 10:30 in the morning. As the day wore on, the fog lightened up a bit.
Grandma Helen rocking Mallory before bed. Yes she is 6, but Grandma told her you're never too old to be rocked to sleep.
This is Me, Mallory and Grandma Hutchinson in her family room.
This is another picture of Me with Mallory and my Mom. This was the night before we left and I knew I would be glad that I got these pictures so I made sure I did. 4 generations in one house doesn't happen all the time, so it's important to capture it when we can. Thank You to my Mom and Grandma Hutchinson to letting us come and stay. We will definitely be back soon! I Love California!

Day 2 of our trip

This is the only picture from that day, because Jeremy and I went to Great America together, ALONE! The kids stayed home and spent the day with Grandma Helen and Great Grandma Hutchinson. Lyndie carried this pillow around like it was a baby. Grandma Hutchinson thought that was really cute of her so I got a picture of it.

First Day of Family Vacation to San Jose, CA

Logan loved getting buried in the sand. He kept laughing while he was in the whole that I dug.
Lyndie had a great time too. She did get tired though after about an hour.
You can see the Santa Cruz boardwalk behind me where I bought all the tourist stuff they try to sell you. I am such a sucker! Oh well, it was a blast. And yes, we all got matching Santa Cruz shirts. I am wearing mine right now :)!
Mallory and Logan had fun with Mom racing the waves back to shore. This was their main activity and they did this for at least two hours.
This was taken about 5 minutes after we pulled out of the parking lot after we left the beach and had walked all along the boardwalk and went on the carousel. They were exhausted and I don't think they fully recovered the entire trip.
